'what will be the sign of the end of the ages?'

Are there universal truths that people just pick up on? Do our subconscious minds (like that of Matthew, or Nostradomus, etc) simply glean the secrets of some greater instructions? Have we all just been putting our mark when the moment is right, to carry our wisdom to our future selves on the waves of synchronicity?

I believe this is one hell of a story... and I think the ending is where we'll all shine.
